Dear Musashi,

So, I'm about 1,000 words behind where I should be right now, but I figure that's OK. It's still not the story it is in my head, too wordy, too explanatory, but whatever. It's slowly moving into the parts that I want to be writing, and the parts where I don't know how it goes. We'll get there.

Yay, an updated word count! Although I feel compelled to point out that I kind of hate you for your word count right now. (But not in a way that involves actual hate. Just, you know, insane jealousy.)

And I reiterate the fact that finding the replacement wordcount meter is because I am a bad, bad person with a questionable work ethic, indulging in a love affair with google. And I'm not going to tell you how long I spent looking for a good replacement wordcount meter, because I was doing it at work and I have no desire to confess to my sins.
