Two Memes for Price of One
So, you guys can all blame shimotsuki for this first one...or maybe you will thank her, because after seeing how much crap I dumped out of my purse you may all feel much better about the contents of your own!
Handbag Meme
1. Take a picture of your bag.
2. Now dump everything out and neatly adjust them, and take a picture (no matter how embarrassing).
3. Talk about the items inside. Detail.
4. Tag 6 people (don't tag the person that was already tagged).
So, here's my cute little purse from Geoffrey Beane that I bought last weekend at the outlet mall:
It reminds me a bit of Mary Poppins' carpet bag, as this was the unholy mess that came tumbling out when I turned it over:
So, clockwise from the huge pile of change:
1. Weightwatcher's Calculator and Weight Tracking stuff for my Saturday weigh ins
2. Little bottle of eyedrops for when my eyes feel all crackly
3. An assortment of pens and pencils (ironically enough, I had taken out the notebook that was in the purse last night to doodle during my show that night)
4. Two hair sticks I bought at a RenFest three years ago
5. My eye concealer, Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer, Chapstick and Mary Kay lipgloss that goes everywhere with me
6. The handy-dandy Tide Bleach Pen that has saved many an item of clothing from sure ruin
7. My nameplate from my office at work that I have just vacated for two months (funny, the guy backfilling me wanted to put his name on the door...)
8. My camera case (hey, I had been taking pics all day for the other meme!)
9. Cell phone and wall charger (don't ask me waht the heck it was doing in my purse...)
10. Large pile of papers that includes several Disney receipts, my dry cleaning ticket, and an envelope of comp tickets for our wig stylist
11. ID pouch with driver's license and other necessary cards
12. Red wallet for all other necessary cards and what little cash I carry
13. Sunglasses, a must in Florida
14. DM mucus relief for my chest congestion that, oddly, is not tied to any other symptoms of illness -- I really do feel fine!
15. Little hair clip
16. Spearmint Lotion
17. iPod in the pink case
18. Little container of sunblock
19. Packet of matches from Jellyrolls dueling piano bar
20. Pack of Orbit chewing gum
21. Several sets of keys: for theatre (yellow lanyard), work keys (Mickey Mouse keychain), current car keys (with cute little Eeyore house key), and Deceased car key (well, mostly deceased...I had to drive it a bit last week while I waited for the tag for my new one)
22. Swipe key for the theatre's elevator ($25 if Lost -- looks really funny when I am wearing it around my neck)
23. Lone key is for the PO Box
24. Huge pile of coins strewn haphazardly in the bottom of my purse...I'm rich!
