Button Seeking

Does anyone out there recommend a good place to go here in town for buttons? I'm finishing a couple of sweaters, and I need buttons. I know to look at Gail K Fabric on Cheshire Bridge (they are closed today), but it would be nice to know of any other places with a good selection. Uncommon is good. Handmade is very good. WALMART!!! Micheal's...ok im out. If those fail, i have about a billion, 25 years worth of not throwing away the "extra buttons" that come with clothes, even though i never use them, muuhahahaha.

Of course Kitten is memorable, but how do I have any way of knowing this is Kitten? You had a different LJ name before. I can see your Yahoo name on your profile page now, but back when you added me you didn't have any clues about who you were. When you didn't respond to my question back at the beginning of November, I figured you were someone I didn't know.

I'll ask my mom to send me any interesting ones that she might find... She likes to go to little thrift stores and neat shops for beads and odds 'n ends. I'm sure if I go "hey mom a friend of mine is looking for uncommon buttons" she's libel to come up with some interesting things. Oh and she won't spend a whole lot (she's thrifty like that), she'll probably find it fun.
