Even though the only person who reads this already knows about most of this stuff, I've decided to blog about our upcoming I DOs.

The needed budget to have something that would actually resemble a wedding, is a minimum of $4000. That's with our friend performing the legal part and allowing us to use his home, if it's done by then. 1...2...3... ARGH ( Read more... )

To me the most important thing is that I love you and vice versa. Ceremony, big or small, is all extra material. We'll make do with what we can and go from there. The important thing is that we have a happy life together. The rest is "bonus material".

I love you, am honored to be your future husband, and though I wish I could do far better by you in many ways- I will always do the best I can for you. That's really what I've got to promise.

The inside of the house should be ready by the end of August. By the end of September, our sea wall should be repaired. Hopefully by then we'll also have the outside of the house completed (a few areas patched up and then painted, screens, minor things). That's one thing that, barring Mother Nature throwing a bad storm our way, should be alright and ready.

We'll do what we can to help you all along on this. :)
