I'm still on the east coast.
I'd never before seen fireflies outside of cartoons.

wooooo, lucky! All the neat things we never see on the west coast happen there. Fireflies, snow, lightning storms, green grass without sprinklers ;)

Haven't yet seen snow outside of Tahoe/DonnerPass and that one time in Davis, but I've got the others covered. So. Much. Green. ^^ And gorgeous storms (Even their plain ol' average rain is more fun over here). Broken record I may be, but I will continue to sing praises for so long as I have them.

Truly, they are.

A few of the fiction books I've read lately have faeries in them in one form or another. So I admit, my first thought when I caught one out of the corner of my eye... ;) Regardless, they are quite spiff.
