Wow! Spring really crept up behind me and knocked me over the head! Do you remember when I proposed doing a spring get-together, a "OMGWTF-BBQ", if you will? Well, it's about that time...

Poll OMGWTFBBQ?!

Minnehaha park is convenient for those reliant on public transportation, but if anyone has a better suggestion....

First of all, in the last question, there were no letters. It confused and frightened me.

Secondly, this is an awesome idea! I checked all the dates (b/c I'm boring and have no life), but if you have it later, don't have it the weekend of May 5-6 because I will be in the Bahamas, and it's all about me! :P

The more I think about it, the more I like Saturday, May 12. It gives us just enough time to get the word out. And it would be nice if a lot of people converged on the site that day. I have a dream of over-running the park. That's not likely, I know, but hopefully I won't be out there grilling burgers alone.

By Twin Cities I'm assuming you meant Tama/Toledo, IA. But if not I've been known to roadtrip on a sunny afternoon for a good BBQ.

Well as a matter of fact I'm flying through MSP on Saturday on my way home from Amsterdam. If it were to happen that day I think I could just stayover for a little BBQ. :p Sunday it might be tough to drive back up. The next saturday though I could proilly make it. But please don't schedule around me. If I can make it I will. :) Sounds like it would be lots of fun. I've got a few LJ friends in MSP area too I'd try to drag along.

I haven't announced it yet, but I'm leaning towards Saturday May 12th. I think that gives everyone enough time to put it on their calendars.

"Desert" should be spelled "brownies". (Actually, it should be spelled "dessert")

And pushing it back to mid-May is a pretty good idea. Hmmmm...
