Debates, Despotism, Dystopia, Drunkeness!

Based on the colossal success of last week's "Debates & Drunkeness" at the 508, and our sister group's gathering at The Independent, we're doing it again this Thursday at The Local, We'll be back in "The Sanctuary" (see Section Six on the Pub Layout page) starting at about 7:30. The debate starts at 8:00. Come early, stay as late as you'd like.

What's your best suggestion for parking? (I don't think I'll be up to biking by Thursday. Damned cop.)

Well, I'll be parking at home and taking the train up to Nicollet Mall. But if I were to drive, there are meters along the street until 10pm, or there's a ramp on 9th, just half a block east of Nicollet Mall. I don't know if they validate parking, but it's a good question.

I saw the post in the Twin Cities comm about this and I'm going to try to make it - with a friend or two.
