Okay. I'm feeling torn. A co-worker with whom I've frequently had agreeable discussions about the lack of privacy once one joins a social networking site (Facebook, Twitter, etc) sent me a convincing article last Friday. I'm not for or against social networking sites inherrently, but I will say that one of the advantages of facebook is how incredibly customizable your privacy settings are. So I can set pretty much every friend I have to a different level of access to my information. I usually keep most of my friends at my work details and maybe a photo or two and have special customized access lists for everything else.

I think I would like the idea if it didn't end up being so time-consuming. Plus, I'm a teacher, so I have to be super duper careful what I post. I think it has great networking potential. That about sums it up for me!
