Yup, I usually call in after I've been shopping in the town. tbh I'm not really sure if it's worth coming up all the way from London. Inside there's a normal GW shop, Bugman's Bar, an absolutely massive gaming hall and the museum bit. The hall has very nice tables to play on and usually a mini exhibition showing some art work. The museum is a medium-ish room full of glass cabinets showing off old and new minis from Warhammer, 40K and LotR (some are occasionally empty due to being used in photos).
It's a nice place, but I'm not too sure it's worth a 2 hour train ride and a bus journey there. Depends how badly you want to see it!

And Nottingham? Hmmm. We've booked a flight to London the last week of July. I'm supposing you have seen GW Nottingham? Worth the trip north?
