The Dubai government must be pretty rich. The investing branch is planning to buy Barneys!! Dubai must be the richest country in the world. It's like Upper East Side NY, but in country form.

I totally understand how you feel about that management final. People around me were so surprised by how long it was. I guess she wants us to do things fast but not necessarily accurately, which is kind of stupid because auditing and being an accountant really requires a high level of accuracy if not perfection.
And I am so amazed the sophisticated information you provide on livejournal. Now I feel like an immature kid who just rants about my petty feelings. Maybe I should start giving some meaningful info here, once I start attaining that sort of knowledge myself.
I gotta tell you that my friend was laughing at how I was reading The Eonomist, and how it takes me forever to finish. (I haven't even finished the first issue I got). I guess I have a big flaw of having to read through every article in a magazine carefully. I mean, I almost had the thoughts of taking notes on them.

I did the same thing when I first got the Economist. I even highlighted stuff in my issues because there was so much news and I didn't want to be behind. But now I just read the relevant information (ie not europe) because I don't have the time to be that informed. You should sign up for the weekly digests because they'll email you the editor's picks for the week so, in case you really don't have time, you can at least read the important news. Bah, I'm such a nerd.
