Today is NOT St. Patrick's Day

so stop with the irish celebrations...if you didn't celebrate on saturday, you done fucked up. the catholic church moved it to the 15th because the 17th coincided w the holy week

There's nothing wrong with having a sense of Irish pride on the day it's been acknowledged for the past X# of years.

So even if we all did miss it, there's nothing wrong with tossing back a Guiness and a corned beef dinner and a side of Irish Soda Bread today.

...It's also still being acknowledged in Ireland today as a day off.

um, ireland still getting the day off is like the US getting MLK or president's day off, even though the traditional holiday is on a different day. check out the "monday holiday act" for reasons why.

and jenn...i'll stop bitching only when you toss back a Guinness and corned beef.

I've had Guinness before when I was in Ireland.

I also eat corned beef dinner like they're going out of style.

So stop bitching. :)

I don't see why this is such a big deal to everyone.

The Pope also recently added 'obscene wealth' to the list of deadly sins, among others. Sooo, fuck him.
