Jun 17, 2007 01:58

Reactions to Utopia as I watch it, because I have no one to talk to and I can't contain the squee.

Oh my god!!!

SPOILERS for Utopia. Also, much squeeing and random capslock. )

My general reactions went something like this:
JAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK! JAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK! Oh, Rose! Hee, blonde comment! OH MY GOD, IS HE A LATER REINCARNATION OF THE DOCTOR (would that even be possible?) Hand! Hand! Oh Martha, how awesome are you? THE CONVERSATION! IN THE RADATION CHAMBER! JAAAACK!

THE MASTER IS BACK OMG!

(it was not at all coherent, and still isn't)

*grins*

That conversation in the chamber was... Oh my god. And of course it had to be all in red. *geekgasm*

About the later reincarnation thing: there have been Doctor Who specials in the past where two or more versions of the Doctor met each other. So yes, possible. :-)

(And hey, my entire flist is reduced to incoherent squeeing. I'm only this coherent because I've squeed in my own journal and three posts on my flist.)

I was like - what? The Master? Who is that? Because I do not have that much old-Who knowledge, sadly. But oh so cool, anyway.

And that Jack/Ten conversation!

MARTHA ROCKS!

I only knew who he was because of the crack_van fandom overview, I'm afraid. :-) And seriously, he's now played by John Simm, which means I *must* love him.

Jack watched Rose grow up!!! OMG! And the Doctor *knew* that Jack was alive, but he *ran* from him. *flails*

Martha is still absolutely *awesome*. I liked her conversation with Jack in the beginning, so snarky. And her reaction to the hand!

(I could squee about this for *days*.)

I just loved the Jack/Ten interaction - they behaved... sort of like an ex-couple, didn't they?

Martha is, and I do not use this word lightly, *awesome*. If they kill her off, I'll kill them.

They behaved exactly like an ex-couple. *grins* Oh, Jack. He seemed so much younger than on Torchwood, didn't he? Much more flirtatious and funny and *Jack*. It seemed like the weight of those 140 years had been lifted off his shoulders when he heard the TARDIS. He really had missed the Doctor a lot, hadn't he?

Martha can't be killed off! *gasps* She has to stay for at least another season, and when she leaves it'll be her own decision. That's the way it should be. *nods*

Apart from me already knowing the Professor was actually the Master, that post pretty much summed up my reaction to the episode. :)

I might have some intelligent thoughts tomorrow

Did you get any yet? I always say that when I post something straight after an episode, but then remember that I rarely have intelligent, non-squeeing thoughts about TV shows!

I always say that, yeah, but I haven't had many yet. :-) I think I'll watch it again tomorrow and see if I come up with anything.

I'm still squeeing too much today. :-)
