Camping can be fun...

This weekend I've been camping with the people from SFU-Århus. It was lovely. We went to a free camping site by one of the lakes at Silkeborg. The weather was nice, the water was cold but clean and there were real toilets, yay! We cooked over a fire we'd built and it was all very primitive, except for the ghetto blaster and the marshmallows. And

Well, I kind of hate camping (a lot. Seriously. No.) but it sounds like you had a great time - and at least you had proper toilets!

Also, you can't camp without marshmallows! You can't even have a fire without marshmallows! (And graham crackers. Mmm, marshmallow sandwich).

I'm mostly kind of ambivalent towards camping but this felt like a really long outdoors party. The place was huge and the other campers were far away, so we could make as much noise as we wanted to. But I'm not sure I would hve likd it as much if there weren't proper toilets. :-)

I know! The first thing I did was go looking for good sticks for roasting marshmallows.

I don't know. I just don't know. But it makes me laugh.

It's true, your form of camping does sound like more fun than the standard five days in a tent with people you like but really, really get on your nerves after a while (also known as your family). *grins*

Me too - it is actually impossible to take seriously. *grins*

That comic is hilarious, and completely terrifying! I'm an atheist so I love stuff like that, but it scares me that there are people who actually write and publish it!

Btw, do you have any more American Dreams? I watched all those 8 episodes in one day and was hooked...

Oh no, nothing that exciting. It was just one of the boys who happened to own a kilt - not even a real one, but it was brilliant nonetheless.

Yes, I've been meaning to upload more but then the sound on my computer stopped working and I stopped downloading, and no one (except you) commented on my latest upload, so I let myself neglect it. I do have a couple of them, one that is horribly out of sync and one that I haven't watched, sitting on my HD and I'll make sure to get them up ASAP.
