On average, I go to Lafayette every 3 or 4 weeks. But every time I go, I unexpectedly run into someone I went to high school with (or, for the grammatically correct, I "run into someone with which I went to high school.").

I get invited to a lot of parties. And it's not because of my sparkling wit or charming personality, because by all accounts I don't have those things. The only reason I get invited anywhere is because I don't drink, so I can drive everybody home at the end of the night.

For the past 7-10 months I've had a hunger. A very specific, yet very general hunger. My craving has been for cafeteria food.

In my free time I like to make up catch phrases. Nothing too obnoxious, just little things that my friends will enjoy. Or at the very least, things that seem clever and spontaneous, but are actually well-rehearsed and possibly stolen from obscure TV shows.

I consider myself a reasonably intelligent person. I have a moderately difficult job, and got a fairly high GPA in college. Heck, I passed Calculus 3, which is none-too-easy.

I have spent the past 10 weeks traveling back and forth to the West Bank of New Orleans. Specifically, to Belle Chasse and to Harvey, LA.
