I'm doing the lessons at Alliance Francais, which is on Clarence St in the city.
Price wise it's expensive. I'm doing the Sat mornings, which is 9am until 1:30pm for 8 weeks. Level 1 cost $480. Level 2 cost me $432 ( 10% discount for paying before the end of the first level ). I guess that offer probably continues until later levels as well.
Yep, I think its better to go for the intensive chunk on Saturdays because you're immersed in the language for longer. Plus when you're a student there you get to use the library which has a reasonable amount of dvds, videos, cds and books you can borrow for free.
I've learnt a lot of grammar and vocab but I do have some advantage because my mum is french :)
