I woke up this morning to Matthew begging me to get out of bed because "it was time to get up." Now, Matt knows not to try to wake me before 8 o'clock because I'm a grumpy girl if I don't get 8 hours of sleep. Plus, there was no reason for me to be up before 8, or so I thought. After resisting to get out of bed simply because "it was time to get up

Snow is so cool. It never gets old to me. I suppose it's because I never have to drive in it. People that don't like it tend to have to dig their cars out, slide on the roads, or are stuck in traffic due to snow related congestion.

Embrace your fading opportunity to sleep in, get up to look at snow and snuggle, and to enjoy the things YOU like with most of your time. You live in a friendly little town (they don't even keep packages that get delivered to their apartments), you have a boyfriend who, uh, loves you (action verb), and despite everything, you don't HAVE to work for a living--Matt will never let you starve! So just turn on the heat, tidy up the house, and enjoy winter in Cleveland. Oh, and yeah, try to work out three times a week, and walk for an hour on the other days. As Billy-Bob said in SLINGBLADE: "You will be happy."
