A few years ago (in college), I had a best friend... he eventually started "like likeing" me, and we sorta tried the dating thing. I told him I just wanted to be friends after a short while, and so our relationship continued without the kissing or holding hands stuff. A relationship with him further than super-duper best friends did not feel right to me. In fact, it made me kind of sick to my stomach to even think about it. I can't explain it. But, we were two peas in a pod. We were meant-to-be...friends. in th end, He told me he loved me, and I told him that I did not love him more than a friend, and the next day he DROPPED OUT of college and went home. I have not spoken to him since, and the last time I saw him, he was a groomsman in our mutual friend's wedding. He left early, and left a piece of cardboard on my car window that had written on it, "Burn in Hell
