Let's see. I have a strong affinity for tigers, and once had the opportunity to actually hold a tiger cub. (They purr LOUD.)

The closest I've gotten to any kind of tiger was petting a cub when my family stumbled across a guy holding one in the middle of a pet store when I was a kid; holding a cub definitely trumps that. Awesome! ^_^

When I was little, I built my own three-story doll-house out of cardboard boxes and put in a stairway and a working elevator (there was a string to pull it up and down). I also made the furniture and accessories from various media. I did all of that because my sister wouldn't give me her wooden doll-house.
