Today I asked a little boy in my class what his favorite song was. (I can't tell you what grade he was, but keep in mind that for Gen Music, I only teach K-3.)

He told me "Apple Bottom Jeans."

I'm sure things in the song go over his head, but why the hell is he listening to that?

Some parents just make me so mad.

haha speaking of apple bottom jeans, I saw Flo Rida live in Taiwan this summer! at least the song isn't nearly as scandalous as most other rap songs out there these days...

oh heavens. my favorite songs back then were kids' songs from church. or something from the 1940's my mom and her sisters liked to sing a lot. but "apple bottom jeans"??!!! what is the world coming to!?!?!
