Body and Appearance

Very thin, almost dangerously so. Short (4'8") and lanky.
2. How old is he?

His posture isn't perfect. It's a bit lazy and I think he slouches a little.
4. How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
Aside from being a bit underweight his physical health is pretty good.
5. How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
Depends on his mood really. He can be graceful and fluid when he needs to be and is focused, clumsy when he's nervous and tense when he's upset or has a lot on his mind.
6. How attractive is this character physically? How does he perceive himself in the mirror?
Very cute and apparently has the ability to make any adult a damn pedophile. He never mentions how he feels about his own looks, but often seems confused or clueless when someone compliments him or flirts with him.
7. Describe his complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?
Light but not pale. Asian skin tone.
8. Describe his hair: color, texture, style.
Black hair, pretty messy and according to Nastuo and Youji, it's very soft.
9. What color are his eyes?
Dark purple.

Black cat ears and a tail.
11. What are his chief tension centers?
I don't think he has any.
12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does he have six of the same suit?
Casual but still fashionable. The colors seem to vary or go with his mood but the kid is always stylin'. It's even mentioned that he disliked having to wear a uniform in his old school so he seems to put a bit of thought into what he wears.
13. Do his clothes fit well? Does he seem comfortable in them?
Very well and yes, he seems to like them.
14. Does he dress the same on the job as he does in his free time? If not, what are the differences?
If you count school as a job, then yes since they don't make them wear uniforms.
15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando?
You know... even though they show Ritsuka without his clothes so often, you never see his underwear... My guess though is briefs since he sometimes wheres pretty short pants that boxers... just wont work with.
Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse?
Um, a little high, but hell, he hasn't even hit puberty yet.
2. How does he normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does he talk easily, or does he hesitate?
It really depends who he's talking to. If it's an adult he'll speak evenly and politely but if it's his friends or someone his age he'll often sound annoyed.
3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics?
No, not really, though he does tend to hiss when he's very angry.
4. What language/s does he speak, and with how much fluency?
Japanese and English. Japanese is his first language so he's very fluent. English he's still getting the hang of but he's a fast learner.
5. Does he switch languages or dialects in certain situations?
No.
6. Is he a good impromptu speaker, or does he have to think about his words?
He rarely thinks before he speaks. He speaks from the heart and with little concern over what the other person will think.
7. Is he eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change?
Pretty eloquent for a kid but if he's around someone he's comfortable with his speech becomes more laid back.
Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is he book-smart or street-smart?
Book smart. He can be a little naive about the world outside and too trusting. I mean he does just walk off with a stranger because they claimed to know Seimei and later on he tries to sleep... on a train.
2. Does he think on his feet, or does he need time to deliberate?
He usually needs time and likes to plan things out, but when he needs to he can be pretty quick in a pinch.
3. Describe the character's thought process. Is he more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical?
Though he has a very logical mind, he's also very compassionate and though his mind will scream at him to do one thing, if it doesn't feel right he wont do it.
4. What kind of education has the character had?
Public elementary school. Nothing very impressive.
5. What are his areas of expertise? What, if anything, is he interested in learning more about?
Philosophy. The boy likes to think way too much.
6. Is he an introvert or an extrovert?
Introverted. Sooo very introverted.
7. Describe the character's temperament. Is he even-tempered or does he have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven?
Oh boy, this kid and his mood swings can be pretty bad. So bad that the first few chapters of the series he comes off as slightly bipolar and Yuiko thought he had multiple personalities. His mood has simmered down as of late, but he is still quick to anger and can be very melancholy.
8. How does he respond to new people or situations? Is he suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic?
Suspicious and timid. He doesn't trust easily and with very good reason, but once he gets to know someone he is a bit too quick to put faith in them.
9. Is he more likely to act, or to react?
React.
10. Which is his default: fight or flight?
Peaceful resistance? He doesn't really get into fights since he hates violence but he also wont back down from one if the reason is important to him.
11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does he appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks?
Eh-heh, what sense of humor? He doesn't seem to have much of one. Most jokes either go over his head or he just finds dumb. If it's clever enough he'll smile but I he's rarely... if ever, seen outright laughing at anything.
12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does he deal with them?
Amnesia. He deals with it by taking pictures with almost everyone he meets since he's scared that he might lose his memories again and forget them all. He's also afraid they'll forget him so he makes copies of the pictures to give the other person.
13. What moments in this character's life have defined him as a person?
When Soubi first tells Ritsuka that he loves him. It shows how terrified he is of letting people in and how confused he is about affection and love. Another is when he reunites with Seimei after years of believe he's dead. It shows how devoted and loving he is towards his family, despite all the physical and mental abuse.
14. What does he fear?
Being forgotten.
15. What are his hopes or aspirations?
He hopes to be forgiven by his mother for making the old Ritsuka disappear and to be accepted for the Ritsuka he is now. His aspiration is to reunite his family.
16. What is something he doesn't want anyone to find out about him?
That his mother beats him.
Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with his parents.
Oh boy... not good, at all. His mother is a raving lunatic that believes Ritsuka's replaced her real son. So she gets into fits of anger and beats him. His father... is never around. To the point that the character doesn't even have a name. It's no that he doesn't live with them, it's that he just spends a lot of time out of the house so he doesn't have to see his wife.
2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like?
An older brother named, Seimei. He loves his brother very much and looks up to him, but after some recent discoveries, he's now a little frightened of him. He still loves him though and desperately wants to help him.
3. Are there other blood relatives to whom he is close? Are there ones he can't stand?
Nope.
4. Are there other, unrelated people whom he considers part of his family? What are his relationships with them?
Nope.
5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet?
Yuiko, who he met on his first day of school. Soubi has also been a very close friend as of late and knows the most about him. They met after Ritsuka's first of school. Soubi found him.
6. Does he have other close friends?
As of late, the Zero boys have been really good friends to him and know the most about him. There is also Yayoi who's been growing on him.
7. Does he make friends easily, or does he have trouble getting along with people?
He says he has trouble making friends, but people seem to be drawn to him regardless.
8. Which does he consider more important: family or friends?
Family. He'd do anything for Seimei and his mother.
9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has he been married more than once?
Single.
10. Is he currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse?
Nothing official. Though Soubi does tend to take things to an inappropriate level that Ritsuka doesn't seem to completely hate.
11. Who was his first crush? Who is his latest?
Soubi and... still Soubi.
12. What does he look for in a romantic partner?
Kindness, gentle and mature. He also seems to like blonds.
13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does he relate to them? If no, does he want any?
Nope.
14. Does he have any rivals or enemies?
A few. Yayoi seems to view him as his rival in love, even though Ritsuka has no romantic interest in Yuiko. Then there is pretty much ever fighter and sacrifice in Tokyo that he hasn't faced yet.
15. What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does he fall on the Kinsey scale?
I'd say he's officially an X on the scale since he's still too young to fully understand his sexuality of even fully have one. Though he seems to have deep affection for Soubi and seems to be slightly attracted to him so he can call near the 3s or 4s. In the world of Loveless, there doesn't seem to be any biases on sexuality so most of the people there are bisexual.
16. How does he feel about sex? How important is it to him?
He finds it scary and wants nothing to do with it. He is only 12 after all.
17. What are his turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits?
Doesn't have any yet.
Beliefs
1. Do you know your character's astrological (zodiac or choice) sign? How well does he fit type?
His western zodiac sign is Sagittarius and his Chinese zodiac is the Horse.
Sagittarius fits him pretty well. They're philosophical, curious and always willing to learn. Yet fiery and trusting. As for horse... yes and no. The horse seems to fit who he was before his memory loss very well and both his current and past self are very stubborns, so that aspect fits him. Other than that, no, not at all.
2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in his life?
He isn't very religious, no, but he and his family are Buddhist.
3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it?
Yes, plenty. For one he's a pacifist, so he wont so much as raise his hand to another person. Growing up in an abusive household has made him pretty scared of violence and the thought of hurting anyone the way his mother hurts him is just out of the question.
As for what can compromise them? If it'll put someone he loves in danger. I think that's about it.
4. How does he regard beliefs that differ from his? Is he tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent?
Tolerant, so long as it doesn't involve hurting people.
5. What prejudices does he hold? Are they irrational or does he have a good reason for them?
He doesn't really trust adults and seems to think they all have ulterior motives. Which is a pretty rational suspicion since there are very few pure hearted adults.
Daily Life

Comfortable. His family lives in a pretty big house, but nothing spectacular.
2. What is his social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected him?
Mild or upper mild class?
3. Where does he live? House, apartment, trailer? Is his home a castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does he share it with others?
A two story house that's is pretty good condition.
4. Besides the basic necessities, what does he spend his money on?
...Junk food and I guess books, manga, video games and printer paper for the pictures he takes on his digital camera.
5. What does he do for a living? Is he good at it? Does he enjoy it, or would he rather be doing something else?
He's a student. No job.
6. What are his interests or hobbies? How does he spend his free time?
Photography, books, reading, video games, and hanging out with his friends
7. What are his eating habits? Does he skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods?
They are... horrible. He is the worlds pickiest eaters. He hates anything green or anything that involves too much chewing and makes a HUGE fuss over anything new that Soubi tries to make for him. He loves junk food. His favorite being Big Macs and anything he can make in a microwave.
