I'm having trouble learning a "don't anticipate" lesson. And it's not that I don't like surprises. But I like to know when they're going to be. So if I like surprises, but only in pre-designated time slots, does that mean I actually don't like to be surprised?

Went outside to throw a football around with Glen and discovered a pile of dog shit we'd apparently missed yesterday. By discovered, I mean I stepped in it in a huge way.
