There's a fine line, sometimes, between genius and idiocy. I'm honestly not sure where this invention falls. "Excuse me while I take a warming sip... from my ski pole!"
Side note: Why were you asking the Internet about cold poles? Does cubetime have a problem we haven't heard about?
The idea of the maniacs I've skiied around also being drunk is a bit frightening. (Some of them probably are, but this makes it easier.) I suppose it's really no different than someone stopping mid-day to have a beer with lunch, but I'm more concerned that someone would have their lunch time drink and then fill their ski poles with a pint of vodka. The potential for idiocy seems high.

can you picture someone actually drinking from this? I mean you'd see them with their ski pole to their lips, so the pole would be sticking up in the air or at the least sticking straight out in front of them like 4 feet. not quite as inconspicuous as a flask, but i guess that's not the point. :)
