What an unusual era. I'll have to read up more on this world's history when I get a chance. I didn't know alcohol was banned for so long back then.

What is the science behind alcohol? All I know is that there is rice involved.

The liquor, or "potion", as it's called, is made with fruit in a city called Palmacosta. I think I've heard of a rice-based alcohol from Mizuho, but that's in Tethe'alla.

It's basically fermenting and brewing the rice or fruit and then distilling it.
