Today I got this cloche hat block that looks like Darth Vader. It amuses me vastly. Anyhow I blocked my leopard-print bunny fur hat on it, and I cannot wait for it to be ready. It already looks pretty rad.

Today I got a $40 haircut. I haven't spent that much on a single hair cut EVER. Normally my cuts are around $15 max. It's these moments of epiphany that reaffirm my choices. I *am* a seamstress, an artist, a designer of fabulous things. I am *good* at what I do. If only I could remember that all the time, like when people in my life are making me feel poopy.

Ok so here's the deal, Bayly: The magenta is the closest that supplier has, but she says it's way too dark to be considered a dusty rose. If you can handle that, I'll get that one. I might consider dying one but I've no idea how to go about that. I'll look at other sources and get back to you.

My parents gave me $200 to spend on millinery supplies. I love my parents. I ordered so many beautiful things!

I'm so excited to get them that I'm about to burst.
