The 14-45mm is not really a macro lens, but I think this one came out rather nice.

ACK!!!!
Not sure if you were going for it, but I think if you had taken the picture with the light behind you, you might have picked up the web a bit better. Then again, I'm a hack photographer so... good picture despite the little bundle of evil in the middle.

I know - I couldn't take it any other way though. The spider web was attached to my window and this was the only way to shoot it. The blue behind it is glass.

She's right. The colors are brilliant. I just can't look at that little bug there. Spiders are the one bug I fear.

great pic! how close was the focus distance to the spider. im scared to death of spiders so i'd be daring mysself to take a picture that close. haha, especially at 45 mm

it was shot at 45mm. So I was 45mm away plus the camera body. I don't mind spiders, they always seem like they're just chillin'.
