So the last few years we have headed to Disney World, but living on the west coast this year, we decided on a shorter Disneyland vacation instead. The literally all-day travel last year to WDW is just one of many reasons to try Disneyland this year. It is the original, and smaller, some rides are the same, but even then some are better they say at

We enjoyed Disneyland a lot when the kids were little. We lived in San Diego and we went up just about every year for a long day of fun. When D2 was 3 abd D1 was 5, we said we'd stay until they told us they wanted to go home. At about 8 pm, D2 just stopped walking, lay down on the sidewalk and went to sleep!

I liked DL better than DW because it's smaller and more manageable for a day or two. We did go to DL once and enjoyed it - we were there for a week while K was at a meeting, but it was June and so hot we couldn't go to the park until late afternoon when it started to cool off.
