Oh dear... it's 2:30 in the morning, I really should be going to bed, and now my salivary glands are demanding iced, pastry-type goodness! On a not entirely unrelated note, have you ever noticed that really good descriptions of food are almost indistinguishable from porn?

Also, I love your baking-genius!Merlin and Arthur and Morgana as policemen (y'know, I've read several AUs with those two as police - it seems to suit them really well). Definitely looking forward seeing how the story goes forward! :D

so i am totally in love with this. merlin the chef is too cute for words (and so easy to picture with the tasting his own creations and covered in flour) and you made me itch to go bake (which is ridiculous since i was JUST doing that exact thing). also, this totally brought to mind 'chocolat' especially:
He uses the list like a psychological profile of sorts, narrowing down Arthur’s specific tastes in order to find that perfect pastry - the one that will fit Arthur like a missing piece and make him fall madly in love with Merlin. Everyone’s got one - that perfect construction of ingredients that hits all the right notes and moves the soul - and Merlin is utterly determined to find Arthur’s.
