excellent story, I love all the various pastries and the story has now tempted me to bake something.

I love how Merlin is plotting to find Arthur's dream pastry and therefore his love.

I also really like the descriptions: He sounds a little bitter about it, like under-sweetened lemon glaze

Can't wait for the next installment.

Loved this. If you haven't read Sunshine by Robin McKinley I highly recommend it, the main character is like a female version of your baker(!) Merlin who also kills vampires. (The properly awful kind of vampires)
