So in reality, the deal was as follows:

Trade two games at EB and get Batman Arkham Asylum for $39.95.

As a separate and unrelated offer, you can pre-order to receive exclusive unlockable armour!

Their business model is to encourage preorders (because it's an almost guarenteed sale) and trade ins (because most of their profit comes from second hand game sales). Which is why my EB encounter today boggles my mind.

I don't mind getting an off the shelf copy when it comes out in September. I'll save $40. I miss out on the armour, but I'm sure there is an ingame way to unlock it or the unlock code will eventually appear on gameFAQs so no big deal.

Sweet mother of Jimmy Olsen T-Grams! I think you're right! There is only one way to deal with gypsies - LYNCH MOB!

Heavens to Murgatroid, let's do it.

Then again, the guy does live in Australia, land of all that is unholy in the animal kingdom. Haven't you guys suffered enough without lynching each other?

Try Game or JB?

I suspect JB will give me the best value for money. The only Game in respectable travel distance to me is kinda dodgy and looks like it is staffed by stoners.

Hey, wanna play?

Invitation: Recipe Exchange
Hello,

You have been invited to be a part of a recipe exchange. I hope you will participate.

Please send a recipe to the person whose name is in position 1 (below) even if you don't know them. It should be something without rare ingredients. Actually, the best one is the one you know in
your head and can type right now. (Don't agonize over it!)

After you've sent your recipe to the person in position 1 below (and only to that person), copy this letter into a new email, move my name to the top and put your name in position 2. Only mine and your name should show when you send your invitation to your friend. Send to 20 friends. If you cannot do this within 5 days, let me know so it will be fair to those participating. You should receive 36 recipes. It's fun to see where they come from! Seldom does anyone drop out because we all need new ideas. The turnaround is fast as there are only 2 names on the list and you only have to do this once.
