My mom has threatened to stop dressing me once I turn 25...since that's coming up soon I want to be prepared.

Why not? I wear whatever shoes are nearby with whatever pants are clean and never has anyone said anything about it. As long as they're clean.

Nah, just trying to stress that as a guy, wearing clean clothes (or at least clothes that don't smell bad) is really all that's important. The rest is secondary (or in some respects, even tertiary).
