I've decided
that teenagerdom
is irony.

I have become all the things I use to fear
reject,
shun,
and even hate.

My distinctions between right and wrong--
justice and malice-- have been blurred.
There is no more black.
There is no more white.
There is only a deep, reflective puddle of
grey.

I'm not upset at who I am now.

The line we used to see so bold and strong is now hazy.
Yet, I don't really find a problem with it.
Not at all.

I can relate so well to this. I think we all can.
