My office is in the midst of applying changes to all of our servers. These changes require a reboot. Pretty common, no big deal. We'll push it down, and reboot the systems

Much like Reverend Lovejoy, I just finally...stopped...caring. To hell with best practices, to hell with optimal hardware/software configurations, I do whatever will cause me the least amount of grief from the fewest people. (Not that I'm ever accurate on that assessment, but it's the best goal I can come up with aside from "go home as soon as possible.")
Though "Many" should win some sort of "least helpful help" award -- me, I'd just say I figured she was texting something about Manny Ramirez's suspension because nobody would intentionally be that unhelpful in an internal communication....
