Yeah I found it quite impressive that Collide did that Fiend "radio ID" - and a good quality "radio ID" I remember it being, too!

Not many people have a clue as to what people will pay attention to and what even sounds good these days.... It's funny, in times of a declining musical market people are trying less hard and making more self-indulgent music than ever. So many have dropped off the face of the earth too... I like to think Ben and I are working on something now that will make an impact though.

It was becoming obvious (to me) years ago that the major problem with music over the past decade is not piracy - but the variety.

Whether your buying sheets for the bed, or a new fridge, or music - there is to much fucking variety, and marketing to go with it. People don't want choice, which is why the "big guys" win all the time - not because their product is better, but because they are the more obvious choice.

Its a new black hole that the modern western world built on consumerism has built. Our society only works as long as people are buying and spending more than they have.

I dont know that I could ever agree with that comparison. Sheets are sheets. Music is a kaleidoscope of different things.
