Have you ever seen Deja Vu with Denzel Washington? It makes my head hurt in the same way. I wish all time travel movies were as clear as Back to the Future II (y'know, Doc and the chalkboard showing the difference between 1985 and 1985 From Hell.)

In Denzel's case, the premise is he wants to go back in time to stop a murder from happening. Without going too spoiler-heavy, though, what interested me about that movie was in its version of time travel, often the trail of events leading to a conclusion (like a murder) COULD change but the murder itself would not.
