How to beat the Auburn football team in 3 easy steps:

1. Fall behind early.

2. Bring in unknown backup quarterback after starter is injured.

3. Watch Auburn implode.

That's too many steps, I think all they really have to do is sit back and watch our offense implode.

They'll sort it out eventually, but I think all the blame is on the coaching right now.

I would like to inform you of my campaign for Offensve Coordinator. How bad can I do? It's not possible to lose to Vandy for the first time in 53 years anymore? I also already know how to hand jive. I promise to get the offensive sideline to signal in time and in unison, perfecting Auburn Football: A Musical Tragedy. I also promise to run what works and stop running what doesn't (BEFORE it's 4th down on the SAME PLAY).

It seems like we could attract a good OC for next year. For a team loaded with talent we're performing horribly. Wouldn't a good OC want to come into a situation where just doing alright would be seen as a success? And if they really are a good coach and manage to do great things, they'd get all the credit for it.

Tuberville will sort it out somehow. It's surprising how spoiled the fan base has become in general. I mean, both our losses are to ranked and undefeated teams. We're the highest ranked 2 loss team which makes me think we still have a ton of respect. Our last 4 years were still 13, 9, 11, and 9 win seasons. So while I really don't like the way things have looked, I have confidence that we'll turn it around. Maybe we accomplish that by dumping the spread and Franklin, but I'll give Tubby the benefit of the doubt in light of the great things he's done.

See, I think everyone is going "fair weather fans" when people are complaining FORGETTING that most of us aren't actually complaining that we lost. We're complaining at how poorly we played.

Note that the complaining is much higher this time than it was against LSU. With LSU everyone was all "well, we lost, but didn't we look so much better".
