I have stupid neighbors
I've separated my entry into 3 parts. The one about parking is pretty much me complaining about how someone stole my parking spot.
Yesterday (tuesday) was alternate side on my block. I went to the prayer thing with my dad and brother. When I got back I decided to go out. I was having a super fun time, we all did a shot for my mom, until I saw that I had 9 missed calls from my brother. Apparently he got into this huge fight with my dad because someone stole my parking spot. I know it's not a big deal, Timmy has to pray for parking anywhere near his house. But on my block there's enough parking for everyone. Except on street cleaning days where people from the other side steal spots on my side. We never really had a problem, mostly because I don't go out on Tuesdays much. So my brother calls me to tell me that there's not spots on our side and that I'd have to park across the street and move the car when my dad leaves for work.
That whole situation pissed me off because a) I knew I would get yelled at the next day from my dad, b) my brother got into a useless fight over me going out, c) stupid neighbors who know we park there steal me spot, d) I had to get up early for no reason, e) they have a driveway which they don't use. A 2 car driveway in fact. I was going to park in their driveway but I'm sure they would have had me towed. My dad has a point though. If someone parks in front of our house and blocks the driveway and there's someone parked in front of the person next door, my dad won't be able to pull out of the driveway and thus not be able to go to work. I doubt those people want to pay my dad for the day he missed. I may have over reacted because I was really annoyed and yelling about it all over the place. I was already on edge and stupid people really piss me off. I know it's dumb to get mad at such a petty thing like a parking spot but I wouldn't do that to someone. If I came home and someone was parked in front of my house and the only spot available was to steal someone else's spot so that person now was shit out of luck I would park somewhere else. I gues it's because I try to be considerate to other people and when they're not considerate to me I get pissed.

Oh and I forgot, in the voicemail my brother said that he duct taped a sign to the person's car. It said something like please don't park in front of our house because you know we park there and have 3 cars. Something like that, only nicely put. The sign is still on her car. She drove around all day with it on. I think she's waiting to show it to her husband but it's like totally blocking her driver's side window.
I did learn something from this whole situation: brake fluid ruins paint and renders the car unpaintable. Thanks for the tip Kev.
Today we went to eat at Don Pepe's in South Ozone Park. It was SO good! We went for my brother and Ken's birthdays. You probably want to know what we ate to here it is:
Salad, fried eggplant, baked clams, linguini with white clam sauce, veal don pep, and chicken with roasted peppers and mushrooms. Oh and LOTS of wine. I wanted to get the fresh mozzarella with tomatoes and roasted red peppers but it would have been too much food.
I think that's it. It's served family style so we got a lot of each one because we went with 8 people. I was completely full by the time the veal came out. I had like 4 bites and gave the rest to my brother. If anyone has the cash (because it's kinda expensive) we should all go. Oh and it's cash only cuz it's run by the mob.

where would you go? I'd like to go back to the Philippines with my friends but that won't happen. I want to go to Greece, Italy, Germany, and Japan. Considering the world hates us, I'd probably only go to any of the 50 states or the caribbean.
