No such thing

Tonight has convinced me, now more than ever, that simple coincidences do not exist.

Earlier in the day a friend had sent me an sms asking me if I was going to our local hang-out pub that night, as we normally played trivia on wednesdays. I had to fix a friends computer that night so I said I might depending on how long it took to fix my friend's computer (and if there were any secret porn stashes on his computer). To be honest I really didn't feel like going to trivia.

Anyhow, after fixing my friends computer for 40 minutes I decided I would go to trivia and see what was happening. Unfortunately, only two of my friends had shown up, and the pub was pretty much empty, so there was no trivia to be had. So one of my friends tells me that he was invited to a friends 21st at another pub, and since I was driving I offered to give them a lift there and see if it was as riveting as my current location.

So we drive there and lo and behold, who is sitting all the way in the back with the birthday girl in question but Jeremy, a friend I had seen the day before at a "christmas party". Apparently he knew the birthday girl through work, and she was the only person he knew there, so it was all a very strange coincidence that we both ended up at the same place. Nonetheless, we entertained each other with our mouths. Wait that sounds wrong. As in talking!
We also shot at deer.

This whole thing sounded better in my head.
