I don't understand why you're getting outcasted in your group of friends. I don't understand why nobody but Allison shows genuine concern. I don't understand why Dan isn't sticking up for you, since he's probably the only person who could understand how much you're hurting. I don't understand why all your "friends" are so preoccupied with themselves. You are asking for help. You aren't sending ambiguous signals. You're ASKING your friends to care, as they should by default. And they're denying you that. That's not right.

Come home for spring break. I don't feel like they deserve your company, nor do I feel like they would appreciated it either. They seem ungrateful from what I've read. They seem fickle. They seem cliquey. It's all very juvenile. You're an adult. Maybe you should stop hanging out with these children.
