BTW -- has your store been hearing that B&N is accepting Borders gift cards? Baby bro gets that at least once a week at his store... That and a friend went to a signed at B&N and the staff were upselling their rewards card, saying that Borders was closing soon so why not commit to their program?

our company is in trouble, so they have devised a new (mostly management) structure, stores are staffed based on their sales. our store had to cut one supervisor position. it would have been two, but since i was still on technically as a supervisor (key holder), they just moved me back down to bookseller. no pay cut, only thing that changed is the title it says on my paycheck, and the amount of work my direct supervisor will have to do.
