This post made me cry. I do what I can to combat hatred and I wish, so much, that I could have made it down today. I've been to pride rallies and parades, but so wish I was part of this ( ... )

I agree with you 100% (which is an extreme rarity that I agree with anyone 100% on anything, especially you). I'm not married. Probably won't be till I'm way too fucking old to do anything as cool with it as you and Lisa did at your wedding. I can almost gaurantee it will NOT be to a white girl. The fact remains that I'm an extreme believer that not only should ANYONE who wants to get hitched be legally "allowed to", but that its an atrocious decline of fundamental and constitutional rights to say otherwise. Aside from our country's self declared right to "life, liberty, and the persuit of happiness", where "all men (straight or otherwise) are created equal", its a basic void stamp over the separation of church and state. How dare any closed-minded idiot anywhere try to tell someone that their perception of love is "different" because they don't harbor the same sexual beliefs (or really any difference of belief at all), let alone deny them of what we as Americans apparently view as a "club membership" to get tax cuts, hospital/prison ( ... )
