I add in my two cents about the video game ratings, I haven't found a store yet that didn't police who bought the games. And if kids came in with an adult to get it for them (because they had been unsuccessful in getting it before when alone) they take steps to make sure the parent knows the content of the game. One clerk in exaperation told a nice grandma when she was buying a GTA game for her 10 year old grandson, the subtle didn't work and the kid was trying to hurry the transaction along. The Clerk sputtered out "Ma'am this game gives bonuses for finding hookers, having sex with them and then killing them!" Needless to say the game didn't get bought and the kid was giving the clerk the death glare while grandma was dragging him out and chewing him out for it.
