Sweet teats of the sky pig, plone + zope is easy to install on Windows. I was inspired to do so from a video that's been getting passed around of some dude from JPL doing stuff faster with it than he could with other web frameworks

Yeah, Python makes easy things easy; it's the first thing I reach for these days if I want to write 10-30 lines of code to noodle through an idea or do a dumb computation.
I have no idea how to drive zope or plone from Python yet. These frameworks are massive. I am reminded of a novice's experience of emacs: I have this feeling of being in a strangle alien landscape where everything would make sense if I'd been doing it this way all along. Except I haven't, so it' doesn't, and on top of that the backspace key is bound wrong.
