I have some things to write about today~
-1. Well, we started to have a new teacher in school today (she will only be here for about a month or so though, and she went to my school, same program, her last year was 99 i think o.o). And her specialty is... buto!
For those who don't know, buto is a pretty new contemporary(ish) technique, developed in Japan after the 2nd World War. They wanted to create something japanese that didn't borrow anything from western culture.
I think this art-form is very interesting, besides from one thing... very much of the movement damage the knees!
It makes me think, i don't know if i want to do that as a job if it's that much like that.
Well, if my knees survive these weeks we'll see what i'll think then XD
At the start we did one thing that i would want to do everyday in my warm up routine. When you lay down have someone push your thighs, pretty much into your hips (okay, that doesn't really sound like i want it, but still XD) really really hard. Well, for me i had to have two people laying all their weight on me to feel it, but still XD (sometimes i'm too flexible XD). But afterwards my hips felt, the best word to describe it would be, released. I usually don't feel warmed up enough in my hips in the morning, but people usually want to pay their full attention to their own warming up, so i will need to find a way to do it on my own...
-2. I strained myself today.
In the part where we stretched by the barre, at the end of the first side (well, just in this routine XD) you take your leg in your hand and stretch. I usually don't feel so much because i haven't really found a way to hold that makes me get near to my body. Until today...
It really worked for me when i wrapped my arm around my leg, like.. hugging it XD. At the front i had my leg only a few decimeters from my face *very proud*, but when i took it to the side i felt it.
Something went very very wrong there.
I said something like "fuck fuck fuck fuuck!!" out loud, luckily i don't think anyone heard XD and did the other side and then told the teacher.
She said that i knew my body the best and therefore should decide myself what to do. I sat the rest of the class and took notes.
Then after bamba (western swedish for lunch or school dining room) i did most of the things for the buto-ish teacher (had 3 classes with her today O.O), but i didn't do full out...
It just hurts a little now, so i'll probably be able to dance full out tomorrow or on friday^^
-3. I cut my hair today!
It's about boob-length now (lol XD), with a fixed fringe (hallelujah!) and a few blonder parts (i'm still brunette though XD).
I like it really much ♥

-4. Yesterday, the comm i go to on tuesday, started to sell japanese imported candies in the café (where i work^^). Mostly pocky of lots of different types, but some other interesting stuff. There was one thing i just had to buy for myself. Hi-chew!
