It's been a really mild summer where I live, so the flea market has been very pleasant and I'm not getting that "WHY DO I BOTHER????" feeling I usually get this time of year. Plus I keep finding REALLY AMAZING THINGS, so that helps kill ennui, too.

I am in love with that wig case, but I think I am into the entire concept of having a carrying case for a wig or wigs plural!

I still think Raven is great--she looks like Divine if Divine had been a black teenage girl! I hope someday she runs into Hannah Montana somewhere and rips her wig off.

I'm obsessed with her and to a lesser extent Shirley from Shirley and Company. I really like those kind of low-budget, small record label production jams from the 70s. Plus all of Sylvia's album cover pictures are incredibly decadent. I just stare at this picture of her laying on a shag carpet in a gold lame pantsuit:
