Does anyone remember the Smurl Family? Back in the 80s they sought the aid of WORLD FAMOUS demonologist couple Ed and Lorraine Warren to help exorcise the various demons and evil spirits haunting their house. No, you are not. Sally Kirkland played Janet Smurl and Diane Baker was Lorraine Warren!

This is neck and neck with the drano-tapioca facial letter in terms of best found object ever. I read the book years ago so remembering all the shit the demons did to the Smurl Family makes me a little leery of taking them home and tacking them to my bulletin board, though.

I inadvertently started collecting old abandoned photographs last summer, and even at their most banal they manage to outdo a lot of "real" art. Polaroids especially. There's something about the Polaroid format that just lends itself well to accidental masterpieces.

I'm not on here very often anymore, but every time I do read my friends page I am always really amused by your posts. Especially this:

Thanks! I was never really into this for tons of comments, but lately I see so many "GOODBYE LIVEJOURNAL" posts on my watchlist that it's hard to get motivated to write.
