Finally had my phone interview today. It went as well as could be expected. The guy conducting the interview sounded at least as nervous as I was, so that helped some. Next, they're going to be sending me skill assessment to complete. That's encouraging, since I tend to test well ( Read more... )

What do you think of a Monk/Cleric/Sacred Fist build? I really like the Monk fighting animations and the Sacred Fist PrC.

I've been looking at the NWN2 forums for builds and some are quite good. With the new Cleric domains you can have a Monk with quite a few nice feats AND 9th lvl spells.

What I was thinking was Monk 11/Cleric 9/Sacred Fist 10. The other idea was to forgo casting at all and go Monk 20/Cleric 1/Sacred Fist 9 or Monk 19/Cleric 1/Sacred Fist 10. Not sure which of those is best.

I saw a few posts ago that you tried a Monk build but it didn't work for you...any thoughts on the M/C/SF builds?

Do you see yourself continuing with your Warlock for MotB?

One sad thing I've heard is, SFs take a -8 AB penalty for using weapons, so are pretty much forced to go unarmed ( ... )

I'll be interested in hearing how the expansion's rest restrictions affect that build. Even ignoring that, it looks like you'll be doing a lot of monking and not so much clericing. As such, I wonder if it wouldn't be more effective (to say nothing of simpler) to go pure monk.

I'm divided over the Blazing Aura feat. Actually, I asked about it on the Bioware forums, but no one else knew whether it was worth the considerable investment. If it performs as its description suggests--you do 1d10 fire damage on attacks (not just hits)--it'd definitely be worth it. It'd be great to be able to slow-roast some dude who had AC 100 and 50% concealment ( ... )
