Its 3am....the morning after Christmas......Christmas was fun.....It was.....nice. I don't expect things, I just live....and hope for the best. I think because I had to work for everything that I have, that I get, I don't just expect things to come to me and when it does....its that much more special

There are so many challenges that we face in this life, and it's our responses to them that define who we are as people. It is only natural to put your guard up after you've been taken advantage of - you would be looked at as 'dumb' if you weren't cautious the second time the same thing happens. People may see your caution as complete rejection to an idea such as 'love' but as long as YOU know that you are not shutting it out, that your heart is still open and that an open heart is a very vulnerable thing and worth protecting then forget how it looks to other people. It is a difficult thing to be in this world yet not of it. It is a true skill to not get caught up in the web of pretention and fears we live with everyday but you are a very special guy Chris who's doing the best he knows how-and I know you're going to be just fine. I'm really glad to know you and I can't wait to see the incredable things you're going to do with your life. XOXOXOXO
