Thank you. Thank you for several things, one of them being for such a fantastic fic, but more significantly for explaining what I believe in a way I never can.
I think that I'm going to add this to my memories, so that next time I'm having a crisis of faith, I can reread this and remind myself what I'm not the only one that struggles.
Admittedly, it helps to be part of a somewhat less seemingly forbidding church (I'm Methodist), but as someone who has studied Physics and Religious Studies at A-Level, my faith is so confused by science and philosophy that I have difficulty making sense of it all, and making the connection between the immense being beyond understanding, that I believe is interpreted by Christians as God, by Muslims as Allah etc and the personal God that I pray to, the one who sent his Son as Saviour.
I'm going to stop blathering at you and just offer a heartfelt thank you for such an amazing story. Also, love that you included the Footprints in the Sand, it's a favourite :)

Thank you so much for your lovely comment, i'm really really glad that you enjoyed my fic and appreciate my own ramblings about faith and religion and science that i've put in it! Footprints in the Sand is easily my favourite religious stories too! Thanks again! :)

Hello, there!

I just want to really affirm you for taking the time to write this fic about faith and God and being Catholic and troubled. It's a beautiful story with a wonderful and sensitive message.

I'm Catholic myself and I have found through the past few years where I've become an active Catholic the views that you have expressed in this story are the answers that I have found to be real and true to me. It's still a tricky road to travel trying to see what it is God wishes for us but like you've said in the story, God loves us. Looking at everything through that understanding helps to really explain a lot about our faith and have confidence in it ( ... )
