While everyone in the world waits for new episodes, I figured this would be a good time to try to inspire some discussion in the group.

So what are some of your favorite McKay and Sheppard interactions?

I think it's touching to see them worry about each other - like in 38 Minutes, Conversion, Suspicion . . .

I adore all of theie interactions in Aurora - soooo funny.

I really love the banter and saving each other and . . . this is why I said "some of your favorite" because I knew I couldn't pick one or list them all, lol.

Love it when they are concerned about each other..when, like Rodney said in Aurora, they have a habit of saving each other's lives.

But a favorite of mine, when Rodney was saying just how many Gate combinations there are and John said 720 and Rodney was slightly amazed by that. That and in The Brotherhood, when Rodney found out he took the Mensa test.

That was one of my favorite lines of that episode. Really sums everything up.

Oh yes, I love John proving his geekiness. Lol.

The bit in Intruder when they were in the jumper:
"You did great back there, Rodney. Want to take the stick?"
"Really?!"
"Nope!"

Confession time in Aurora was funny, too, when they filled the other in on what happened previously. "There are Wraith ships on the way?!", " You told her about Atlantis?!","Is there anything else you'd like to tell me?!"

And them sitting at the table with their arms folded in "The Underground" is just classic, lol.

And earlier in the F302 ;):
"You're right Rodney, it is a limited supply. So why don't we conserve it by you not talking . . at all!"
*offended look*

Lol - I love that episode so much.

They act like they don't care that they've been stripped of their weapons and have guns down their throats - they're just gonna look hot, lol.

I knew that. I really did. I *almost* made an Aladdin avatar from that bit though, lol.

Me too. They look so heavenly, lol.

They have this "I wish you would try to shoot me" look.

I think some of the looks they give each other are funny, too. Like the look Sheppard gives McKay after he says "Who wants to go first? This seems like a Sheppard thing" in The Brotherhood, lol

Make it!

Lol - I still want to see something photoshopped with them and Elizabeth from BIS.

I love the "What did you tell her?" look Sheppard gives McKay near the end.

Hmmm... off the top of my head? I'd have to say the "hot" Wraith discussion in Aurora, as well as any of their interactions in The Storm. :D

I saw a cute avatar of that bit the other day. I have to go back and find it now - or make a similar one myself, lol.

Your post makes me realize that I really need to watch PtW and The Gift again.

The head whack cracks me up. I do that to my siblings all the time, lol.

It's great to have lots of big fans all together. :D

Actually, I thought the Pavlovian thing was a throwback to "Trinity". Remember in the beginning with John, Rodney an' Radek? Rodney explains about the weapon, John lights up and Rodney points to John and says "See? What did I tell you? See how his face lights up?" Pretty sure Pavlov was mentioned there, too.

They didn't say Pavlovian in Trinity - but you're right about the connection with the eyes lighting up.
