I just wanted to pop in and say Hi and that I hope things go well for you. I know that I fall into your ex's circle of friends by default and I can totally understand if you want no contact. You can friend me or not, as you please and if you choose not to, I'll respect your decision and leave you be.

Hey, thank you for reaching out. I've been waiting for people to contact me if they are interested in staying in touch with me...I REALLY don't want anyone to feel like they are in the middle. Still, it's nice when people reach out.

Well, I was wary of reaching out for your sake. I have an amazing talent for pushing people's buttons, especially when I don't mean to.

I have been caught in the middle of a really ugly breakup of a pair of roomies and I have learned (I hope) how to stay out of the way.

If you ever need a story of others that were in really super bad breakups, I got 'em, but I'll keep them to myself unless you ask.

Being the blunt person that I am, I'll just state right up front that no information will cross lines. It is your info to share and his is his info to share. It will not come from my lips or fingers. :)

I'm glad to hear you say that. I sort of felt like you tossed me aside when things changed and it bothered me a bit. I always really liked you but I didn't feel comfortable calling you or something right away.

It's been ages since we have talked. I have thought about you much lately. I am really bad about staying in touch when life gets crazy busy. I apologize for potentially having left you in a void of unknown. I got a little overly self focused over the past year and feel like many have been left to bob in my wake. I hope that we can begin to potentially repair the damage that I have done.
